Easy Instruction, Install, and Use
I`ve used this exact heatsink for 3 separate builds due to its cheap price, easy installation, and consistency. It comes with all of the parts you will need to get mounted on the CPU and motherboard. In the box, it has the heatsink, bracket, cooling paste, and visual instructions (which are super easy to understand).The setup process will vary depending on your CPU and motherboard however as long as you know your board and CPU and follow the pertaining instructions you should be able to install this in under 30 minutes if it's your first time. For me, on my most recent installation, it only took 10 minutes to install onto the motherboard. The fan can, however, it can be a bit of a hassle to install due to needing to side it onto the metal housing. Also during installation be careful to not touch the copper pipes, the bottom of the CPU, and the housing to avoid damage and thermal reductions.For Cooling my I7 8700k at 3.4ghz tends to sit at around 40C under intensive load and never breaks past that threshold. During normal use, the CPU tends to sit at around 32C for me.Pros:- Amazing for the price- Quick installation of 30 minutes or less- Included thermal paste which works without issue- Included fan which works well without issue- Super easy instructions- Good consistent thermal temperatureCons:- Easily bendable if handled incorrectly- Fan installation can be difficult due to the plastic on the fan being rigid- Touching the copper pipes or bottom of the heatsink could drastically reduce its performance
