I keep my commuter bike outside and uncovered all throughout the year- hot and humid Summers, dry cold snowy Winters. I ride it 5 days a week to and from work. Years ago I had a nice saddle with foam cushioning. But the problem was that every time after it rained the saddle would remain soaking wet for a day or two after the rain stopped. This would leave the bottom of my pants with the big wet mark. Not cool!
So when I saw the price of this saddle and the fact that it has no foam padding to soak up water I decided to give it a try. Since it has no foam cushion, it's very easy to dry off with just a towel. I bought my first one around 3 or 4 years ago and it finally wore out and cracked (see picture) so I decided to buy a new one. For the price it can't be beat even if I have to replace it every 3 to 4 years and I never have to worry about that wet spot on my pants ever again! Not only that but it's just as comfortable as my nice foam-padded saddle I used to have.
In 3 or 4 years time when this one wears out I'll definitely buy another one!
