This has been pointed out but when I ordered this product I did not know there are two versions of the Intel 311 SSD. The default image showing a 2.5" drive is incorrect -- this product is a much smaller, non-enclosed version that is intended for laptop PC use. The 2nd image shows what this is. I had to return this product to get the correct one for my needs.

Here's what I did:
I ordered a Lenovo ThinkPad X220, selecting the only hard disk drive option available (a 320GB). I did not get the WWAN card option.
If you don't have the WWAN card installed in the laptop, you then have an extra expansion slot in which you can install an mSATA drive.
The Intel 311 mSATA SSD is an excellent choice. It is one of the few SLC drives remaining--meaning that it is fast and provides the best longevity.
I easily installed this drive myself in my laptop. I then installed Windows on the 20GB SSD. I installed all of my programs on the SSD. I then use the 320GB HDD for data storage (e.g., documents, media).
I now have the best of both worlds--I get the speed of SSD for the OS and applications, while still being able to store all of my media and document files in my laptop.
Enjoy!

P.S. Yes, indeed, the form factor of this particular item is an mSATA card, NOT a 2.5" drive. Buy this only if you have an mSATA connector.
Works great, people looking at this ssd should know that this is a MSATA form factor which is not suitable for use in regular desktops. A few enthusiast motherboards do have a MSATA slot but for now this is mainly intended for laptops with a MSATA slot. Picked this up for my Lenovo X220 laptop to use as a secondary cache for pagefile and apps and is working great in that way. This is based on SLC nand so you do not need to worry about wasting your write cycles since they last much longer than traditional MLC nand based ssd's. Benchmarking this drive shows performance of about 200mbps read and 100mbps write which is better than the 80GB MLC MSATA ssd from Intel but still slower than Samsungs P800. Again this will be more reliable.
